General RC Information
got this for Christmas 1998. ran it stock until the kit supplied silver can gave up the ghost and i stuck a 20 turn stinger motor a friend gave me in it and proceeded to run it until that gave up the ghost. then a Team Associated 17 turn (?) until that gave up the ghost. for a long time this was one of my favorite on road cars to drive. fast enough to be fun, slow enough to run just about anywhere. cool scale looks. M chassis' are a blast.
for a long time it had a Hitec radio, el cheepo servo, Novak Explorer 2 ESC, and ether the stock silver can then a 20 turn stinger motor then a 17 turn (?) AE motor.
current equipment specs are: Novak Ballistic 21.5 motor, LRP Spin Super ESC, Hitec HS325HB servo, Futaba 3PL radio.
and the list of mods includes bearings, oil shocks, universals driveshafts, M05 front hubs and aluminum knuckles.
future plans: find a way to raise the ride height. the oil shocks lowered it significantly and its just to low for how i use the car.
