General RC Information
no joke, a former neighbor gave this to me before he moved about 3 years ago. i know he used to run it at Miles Square Park in Orange County. he hadn't run it in years (probably decades) and wasn't going to do anything with it. so knowing i was into RC he gave it to me. much appreciated. thanks Dave
i stripped it, cleaned, inspected, and rebuilt everything. it had been very well kept.
upgraded the electrics, Futaba 3PL radio, Reedy 2513 servos for steering and throttle/brake, a couple new bearings, RPM receiver box that i had to modify to fit the chassis (just had to cut a corner off the bottom part of the box).
its powered by an HPI .15 engine. it had a 4 shoe clutch but wouldn't idle without driving off at a high rate of speed. i put a stock 2 shoe clutch in it (so far untested) no clue what the pipe is.
JConcepts body (JCO0407-6131) trimmed to fit around the rear shock tower. i think it's for an earlier version of the GT. but it looks damn cool.
