Got the stand designed yesterday, and printed up today.

Thanks man. The Kyosho Legendary series is hard to beat when it comes to cool factor. Getting ready to start the Turbo Scorpion build. Oh and yeah, the one I had in '86 was fun on grass, gravel, dirt, pavement, and even the gymnasium floor I nearly ruined with streaks from the pin tires 😂

I always thought so too. I like it much better black than the orange one I had, but back then, I didn't even know you could dye plastic. I'd really like to get a white cage for it. The white ones look really cool.

Decided to decal the wing with decals I wouldn't use on an aluminum wing.

Yeah, I am debating on waiting til I get the aluminum wing to decal it. Not sure yet.

@Doom! - no more cataracts 😉 Oh, and decided flames were not going to look good, so I painted the stripe on it red. There is a blue decal that is supposed to go there. And I added the facemask. I used the decal reverse as a template, but also had to extend the length because the lexan had to...

Got the driver body done and dyed the wing black. Oh, and I wanted to show you guys how nice these wheels are. They look just like machined aluminum.

Got the chassis completed. Just need to paint the interior and driver. Going to dye the wing black too, but I am eventually going to buy an aluminum wing and aluminum nerf bars.

Episode 3 is up. Added some more pics to original post as well. So far the build is going good. Had a couple goof ups on my end, but nothing too far into the build I couldn't back track quickly and fix. So far the build quality is as good as any other Kyosho kit I have done.

Not so much with Fusion, but it is kinda like some other software I have used. You should see me in MasterCam 😉

Grrr 🤬. I had taken a few pics, but while backing up my phone I either lost them or deleted them. Started on the chassis. I do have some video coming soon though.

Well, I decided to do things differently. The entire head is now primer grey. Going to attemp a real flamed helmet, so it's going into the spray booth 😉
