Made some Hurst cajun 15 bean soup last night in the instapot. Had about a 1/2 pound (each) of andouille sausage and shrimp in the freezer I was trying to find a use for. This fit the bill. Turned out awesome.
I had never made it before. My son has. He said to add a handful of lentils. It...
Looks great. I say that all the time. Then wonder......If I tip the staff enough, would they roll me to the car? Lol.
I've been using the original Bachans in fried rice for quite a while. It's like a cheat code. Been telling everyone I know. Screw Uncle Roger!
Saw these at Walmart. 4 in a pack. Made a couple yesterday. No pics. The wind was howling, only about 34 degrees and snow flakes in the air. Didn't feel like stand by the grill. Just made them in the frying pan. Really, really good. I have 2 more in the freezer. Maybe next time.

Are you punishing yourself? Those have got to be the worst buns I've ever met in my life. My sister served those at a BBQ. Seriously thought people were going to hurt her. Aweful.
Go get some cheap hamburger buns and toast them in a pan. Live a little! Plenty of other ways to eat healthy. Geez...
You can, it just changes the cooking time apparently. I was just trying to talk my dad through this last weekend. He did the same thing instead of a ham for Easter. Woke up at 3AM to pee. Checked on it. It was falling apart. Screwed up his plans for serving time. Lol.
I'm used to smoking them...
I forgot. You probably covered it too. Usually it isn't wrapped in foil or covered in a pan until it hits the stall. Then steam it to get past that. The birria tacos is a great idea. Love them.
My local Walmart carries the first three. Haven't tried the green one. Would like to try the purple...
