Quick update with pictures. The rear diff was leaking pretty bad so I ended up picking up the Exotek rear diff and diff gearbox housing. Both pieces are really well made. I will note the TLR aluminum pieces that hold the bearings are a bit loose in the Exotek housing, but we'll see how those...
Unfortunately it does. I'm not positive how much, but just picking the car up I can tell a difference. Plus the weight is all up high which isn't good. I was thinking I could at least make the inner cover and roof out of carbon fiber to help.
Received my aluminum body panels yesterday. I ordered these from SendCutSend. They cost $29 and are made from laser cut 0.04" 5052 aluminum. The purple M3 button head screws were purchased from Ebay. My original zebra stripe plastic body completely fell apart and I didn't want to spend $60 on a...
Yes, I believe that bearing is correct based on the dimensions listed. It is frustrating, I ended up reusing the old diff case for now b/c I did not have the larger bearings on hand.
You are correct about the diff case bearing. I just received a new diff set and it uses a larger diameter bearing. I think the OD is 13mm for the new bearing.
Regarding the grub screw, the grub screws are only used to attach and hold the center coupler in place on the pinion diff gear shaft...
Yea, it is normal. You could try the clamping wheel hex's (LOSB3493). I have these on front and back and it's nice that they don't just fall off like the stock.
Compared to my AE T6.2, there's way more slop through out the suspension/steering in the DB Pro. Even with the Exotek steering set...
One more addition to the rig. I added an aluminum plate similar to others in this thread to take some pressure off the ESC tabs. Used longer TLR screws to account for the increase in height from the plate.
Hey Guys,
Does anyone know if it's possible to convert the DB Pro shocks from bladder to emulsion? In my manual it lists the TLR bleeder caps as optional parts (TLR5062). I saw a post on Arrma forums by a user that converted their DB Pro to a buggy and they have the bleeder caps installed...
Hello All,
I received my DB Pro a few weeks ago and have been upgrading it since. I received the version 2 model, which I believe just comes with newer electronics. I haven't noticed a huge difference between the supplied Spektrum S614 servo and the Savox SB-2271SG. The Savox is definitely...
