Keep the good news coming man. Or anything else you feel like talking about. There was a huge lobster invasion near Mordor last night. I'm sure you haven't watched any news. But 14 legions of "guys wearing banana costumes" were completely wiped out. I suggest you put on the shrimp costume we're sending you so you can fit in. It's a breaded shimp costume, but maybe the lobsters won't notice

Mrs. Doom is in good spirits again, she is doing better, but still gets tired easy. Tonight is the best she's looked since the first surgery. She must be doing better, she asked for peanut M&M's
Today was day 19 of her stay, hoping she can come home sometime next week.

Well doesn't look like Mrs. Doom will be coming home soon. still not sure what the plan is but she may have to go to a recovery facility for a few months when the hospital releases her. Her surgery was too complicated for us to care for at home. Her wound nurse who has been excellent, says she doesn't think a home care nurse will be able to take care of what needs to be done.

On the brighter side, I think she will be getting some of her drains removed tomorrow, which should help with some of the discomfort.

Even better news is that they were able to remove the broken stent from her eureter tube, which means they won't have to move her kidney, and she will be able to get rid of the nephrostomy bag soon. It also means one less thing her body will need to heal.

She is going in for a second try on the PICC line tonight, hopefully done before I get there, right now I'm wolfing down a couple of hotdogs then back to the hospital.
