Since i have destroyed my stock servo on my savage i have been searching for a new servo. Its hard to find one with good stats.

The Hitec 645 seems like a good bang for the buck, but i heard it has a lot of problems. Anyway i stumbled across the XTM-175 which has .22 over 60 degrees and 175oz at 4.8 volts. I have seen it rated at .17 over 60 and 210oz at 6 volts. The price of the servo is 34.99.

Is it just me or is this servo by far the best bang for the buck. If there is something that I'm missing or you have some personal experince with this servo, let me know cuz I'm probably gonna get it in the next couple of days. Late Shogun.

I have used it in a mammoth! :cross: The Mammoth is slow steering and sluggish, but I don't know if it is because the servo is slow or just because it is a huge truck. The savage is a sharp handling truck it deserves a good servo. Check out the JR Z650 and hitec 945.

i use the hitec 5625mg ( 133oz tq/.14 sec speed @ 6V) digital servo in my savage...has been more than enough servo for me running the MP servo saver mod with pro-line mulchers. 50$ from most places.
