No worries, I can help (I know a fair amount about these cars, look at my profile pic!)! It looks like you'll need a new hinge pin holder thingy, the black plastic piece that holds the hinge pin. I'd also recommend you pick up some new A-arms as well, your front left one looks like it's gonna give with one or two more crashes! Check if your front CVD drive shaft is bent, it may have gotten bent in the crash. Straighten it out of pliers and a hammer if needed, get it as close to straight as you can.Hello!
I was hoping someone here could tell me the part I need to buy to fix my son's RC car? I am a total novice here and not sure what to look up to repair it.
Thank you,
In case you need it someone has uploaded a copy of the manual here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C8N2Wz1ZfWZyKt0GVaLeF0NhtX4Cn0en/view?usp=sharingI wish they had a pdf online but they want to charge you for it.
If anybody needs a video of someone replacing an A-arm on the 144001 or something like that, I can link to a video from one of the YTers I followIn case you need it someone has uploaded a copy of the manual here https://drive.google.com/file/d/1C8N2Wz1ZfWZyKt0GVaLeF0NhtX4Cn0en/view?usp=sharing
Can you send a picture? I can take a picture of the bulkheads on my 144001, if that will help you.Hi guys,
just to add to this... the manual doesn't say the orientation of A, B, C, D swing arm sleeves going from front to back in pairs. Is the A label on it the way we read it or upside down because they are different. Anyone have any ideas?
I'll try and send a picture of mine tomorrow. Try eyeballing/guessing it for now, see how close you can get. If you get the sleeve orientation right, your CVDs, dogbones, and tierods should fit like normal.Thank you. Yes swing arm sleeve part 1267. The article to quadify explains the orientation for rear toe adjustments. Not sure about the front orientation of the "swing arm sleeves" if anyone has any ideas? (Yes I know tie rods do toe in and out at the front as well as camber).
Cheers,
A.
