So I just bought a hobbywing ezrun 3652 motor but I have a spektrum 120a Esc will the motor work with the Esc even tho it’s not a hobbywing Esc?

Most brands will interchange between motors and ESCs. Make sure the motor will handle 120a and all connections fit correctly. You'll be fine anyway, Hobbywing is rebranded Spectrum.
Edit:
I took a quick online look and that motor should be fine with that ESC. Watch your temps, keep below 160 if you can. It can be warm but if you roast your finger on the motor after a few runs, it's too hot. A gear change can be very helpful with overheating issues.

Hey scavenger and OP. Reading the re-branding comment (highlighted above), am wondering the following?

Will my HW Multifunction LCD Program Box work on the Spektrum Firma 85A ESC? Horizon's Smart ESC Programing Update Box looks the same as the HW with similar functions. Save us $30 if they are. Cheers. 'AC'

Almost all the programing boxes will interchange keeping the above highlighted in mind. That being said, my experience has been that I can program a lot of brushless ESCs with the LCD type box while the brushed ESCs are programmed with the LED type box. You won't damage anything by plugging in and seeing if you can program your ESC. When I started screwing around with this stuff I noticed that crossing polarity or over voltage is almost the only way to damage electronics. I played around a lot trying to figure out what works with what and never damaged anything, it just wouldn't function when mismatched.
