I'm going to be installing a set on a Revo for someone.
Anything I should know before I get started?
Any tips or guidance?

I know Jeep has a set, anyone else?

Thanks,
Ed

Ed, not related but do you know how much he paid for them and where he got them? My fav LHS has them but I think they are asking too much.

Ever sense the dude at HobbyTown got tossed in the big house for being involved in a murder, I have been doing all the RC repairs for them. So, they are available at HT.

The price sticker says:
69.99 Retail
and the HT price is $54.99

I'm looking at them now. They seem beefy and well made. Don't know what more to say at this point. Ill be much smarter about them once they are on.

That's 30.00 cheaper than my LHS. I might have to call HT and buy some. Give us your opinion/review once you have them in. I heard that they did a decent job beefing up the shock ends.

I got it off ebay for $59.99 on the day it came out. IMO, it handles better with the suggested oil weight. But, the suggested oil weight might be a little too thick and ... (I don't know what to say just look at the pictures).

IMO again, I think there is a flaw on the design. They might have machined the bottom cap to thin and it breaks easily. Anywho.. I e-mailed Integy... wait for 2 weeks and finally got a friendly reply from them. A week later I have a brand new bottom cap in mail with no charge.

I am going to try lighter weight oil next. Oh, the bottom cap cracked after a 8 foot jump. Shhh... I did not tell Integy about that... lmao :D

All I can say right now is the handling improved and durability is questionable. Maybe I am the unlucky one. I really can't tell until I put it back in and test it again.

I just got the fronts installed. I have to say its not just a plug and play job. It took me about an hour to do just the fronts. As well as change out the rockers to the longs. Because of the retainer pin the servo and servo bucket on the left side have to be removed. Its not a hard job just time consuming. This hour included filling and bleeding all 4 shocks so the rears shouldn't take quite so long.

I used 80 in the front and 90 in the rears. I like the filling and method they came up with.

It seems like a worthy 60.00 upgrade. Not only does it have a bling factor but they LOOK like they are a quality set. Its not my Revo so in the ling run will have no idea how they preform or hold up.
