Whoo hooo! I'm excited to get the build going! Thought about doing a build thread, but I think that's been done. I may snap a few pictures along the way, but usually when I get going, I stay going!

I will say that I have asked, and he has graciously accepted, NCNitro to paint up a truly unique lid for this guy! That, I will absolutely post up because I'm hoping it's like nothing else out there!

Putting a Hyper .21 8-port on it now with a JP-3 pipe (need to order that one). As this is only the second "true" kit I've ever assembled, I'm stoked to get the build going, but I need to finish up my buggy first to clear the bench!

Big thanks to Jetmech for advising me on this! Now I can't wait to get it out on the track with him!

Lookin good MW. I wish i had the bank for a kit right now. I'm looking to go electric for my next ride, but saving some money for a real car right now, so that puts a little damper on the RCs.

VERY nice kit Monkey! So I guess you aint gonna finish that Maxx you started huh? lol.

No, no. The Maxx is actually coming along quite nicely. I need to get the drive train parts so I can install the bulks and what not. The bulks took FOREVER to arrive, which really slowed things up. Add to that the holidays, and there you have it.

It'll get done, but it may have to wait a tad longer while I build this sucker!

Sweet. Fun times ahead for you.

MW..You will enjoy the mugan build..They go tougher great.
I am looking to get one also...Very soon.

Alright, you have til the 27th to have it built and ready for the track! Club race will be on the champs track at CRC! http://www.crcrc.com/pictures.php?ind=31&mode=1&dir=JAN07BUILD You may have to register to see that but it's free. Have fun with the build, check out Tony's build tip thread over at truggyracers, he's got a lot of good tips there in one place. Take the manual and make notes where he has something posted. Don't hesitate to call me f you need anything. Oh yeah, when you get that body, egg the body post holes, might help with the cracking issue we have been seeing. I'm also going to switch and try the plastic braces for the next run. And don't forget the loctite!

Nice as hell MW! Lets see some pics of that beast when your done. Have fun with it man!

WOW....you guys are making me sweat over here. Gotta save more cash or sell somthin.

Monkey what servoes you going with? Radio Set up?

Be nice to see this one built.

Damn nice rig you've chosen Monkey. Congrats and have fun with it!

IB, track is only temporary. The regular track for club racing is in a different building and much smaller. They host the Midwest Electric Champs and the Midwest Gas Champs this month and then the club will have a club race afterwards. If they had that setup all the time, I would seriously consider relocating to Columbus!!!

Now, did anyone else happen to notice that Monkey uses a washing machine for a workbench? I have seen several pictures of Monkey rides on top of that thing!

LMAO. I was actually thinking that he could clean his rigs agter he bashes them. The sink is right next to it.

Z you kill me.

Nice MW, I wouldn't mind if you took a few pics along the way, as I am thinking of building one soon too.

Enjoy the build man.

I'll take a few shots as I dig into it. Right now I have to break out my English to Japanese to English translation book! Also, it looks as if there are two assembly manuals (one for the base model and one for the Prospec) along with one sheet of corrections, so I'm going to have to go through and highlight the steps that require me to switch from one manual to the other. I'm going to have to read through this thing a couple more times to make sure I am able to follow it easily.

Jet, making the race on the 27th is going to be tight, my man. I'm not even through cleaning the Hyper up from the last race, still need to build this thing and I am in Greenville, SC the entire week prior to the 27th. I'll have to play it by ear, but it doesn't look promising right now.

Nice ride Monkey Man! I think you will be very happy with it. I am sure the lid by NC will be killer as well. This is such a great time of year for kit building. I just finished my last two kits. They were both electric though. If you get a chance jump over to the General Electric talk and check em out. I am proud of them! LOL

Have fun on the build my friend. This time last year I was getting ready to buy the CRT kit. Broken leg and all it was great fun.

Tom

Is the whole manual in Japanese?

Congrats on the new toy and good luck with the build.
