Oh yea and that wedding which is why we are going, and to top it off she doesn't wana take her car its new and she dont wana put miles on it so we get to take my truck that will get 12mpg compared to the 30mpg or so hers will get. She wants to stay at a hotel and not with any of her family who lives there and she has ALOT there I swear the things us guys have to go thru sometimes to please the woman of our dreams. i was hoping to get out of going to it so i can finally start putting the rhino back together

i'm just on my soapbox at the moment venting hope everybody else has a great weekend

sucks to be you!I'm gonna do some upgrading on the maxx.new UE shock towers comin in tomorrow which I'm phsyched about and best of all is a picco .21 max engine that will be replacing the old 2.5 which for some reason still runs like a bat out of hell so it will be waiting on my next project.keep your head up-small sacrafice for a long term gain :)

If I'm lucky I might get to see a hurricane.....woo hoo. If you go to Texas you might get to see a hurricane you just never know where thing things will show up LOL

I am going to the Jimmy Buffett concert this weekend. There will be hurricane's there... just not the ones that blow real hard! LOL

On a serious note...

Smaxxin.. I hope like hell that storm doesn't get any stronger, or come any where near you. If it does... be safe my friend, and good luck.

Tom

we are having a Thomas the train theme b-day party for my 2 yr boy. I'll be spending the next 2 says finishing up the house (just moved in 2 months back) and then spending the few hours before the party buried in the garage putting together a bike and Thomas trian table/layout.

it sounds like a ton of work, but in the end it really isnt. besides, its for my boy so its all worth it.

lastly, to the guys who live in/near NO, be safe and try and stay dry

Well lucky me, I get to work on Saturday. As soon as i lock the doors and count the money and set the alarm i will come home and take a shower jump in our Silverado that will already be hooked up to our Toyhauler, that will already be loaded up with everything including our Sandrail. My wife and I will be heading to Garden canyon for the rest of the weekend with a bunch of family....I even have a Brand new BIG Bottle of Captin Morgan and a 12 pack of Dr. pepper in there....It should be a good weekend do a bunch of riding in the mountains and at night after the driving is done due a little drinking....

What ever you and your families do this weekend PLEASE be safe....

If all my parts turn up tomorrow, I'm gonna tear my Axial's axles down and upgrade the diff lockers, and swap my Losi Rock Claws onto my new Mayhem Eng. wheels.

When I've done that I'll be tearing the axles (front, possibly both) down on my Wheely King to remove the lockers, then mount up a servo on the front to replace the one I broke last time I took it out and then put the battery box back in so I can use it for bashing.

Apart from that I need to chill out, and get away from my computer for a while. Why, I guess I could go outside and play if it's not raining :)

i have a house warming party saturday night, then probably get called in sunday to come bag up all the equipment at work so the hurricane will turn around and go somewere else.

No major plans this weekend, except running the Revo, it's been almost a month and I plan on putting some serious amounts of fuel through it. If something isn't broken on it by Monday night, I'll be disappointed with myself.....LOL

Welp, let's see...

I'll probably make an attempt to de-anno my TMaxx chassis and install my 1/8 diffs I'm expecting this week.

Maybe start breaking in my new RB S3 in my buggy

possibly do a little work on a body I've had in the works for a while.

But in all reality I'll probably only finish the first thing on the list. maybe...

Ok pull a spark plug wire or 2 off your truck, it will run real poopy tell her somethings wrong with it if she wants to go gotta take her car.

my plans are I have some projects to complete around the house installing a coal stove in living room.

OR you can go with plan B, Dump a bit of brake fluid under a front tire and tell her your brakes are screwed, But what the hell don't wanna put miles on your car jump in. She will be begging to take her car.:p:

Saturday-Racing the Slash with Fasteddy and robmob.
Sunday-Insulating and drywalling the Man Cave.
Monday-Taking the family to the SF Zoo and kicking back in the city. We plan on having dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe which will be a real hoot for the girls.

I've got the rest of the week off as vacation so I'll be finishing up the Man Cave, wrenching on the UBB, and doing anything BUT work. Woot!

I'm pulling a billy madison, only it college not high school. i have been accepted to NADC(Nashville Auto Diesel College) the oldest most credited automotive college in the world. i have to go Fri. to finish up finacial aid and such. i thought i was to old for college (30) but this school has more adult students than straight from high school kids, they say adults are more serious and this is a school with a 92% job placement program BEFORE you graduate, and this isnt auto zone or pep boys, I'm talkin BMW,ACURA,FERRARI,CAT. big name peeps. I'm going into autobody & collision repair with high performance hotrod fabrication. I'm excited as hell. i realize its gonna be tough on my family for a while, only working part time and being gone so much, the wife and 2yo son is gonna be stressed, but once I'm done they will be glad i did it(i hope). anyhow wish me luck.

and everyone be safe this weekend.

that aint a bad idea but since i am a mechanic she will just want me to fix it before we leave i could try to convince her i have a tire going bad tires out way out of balance and i dont have a matching spare i got 37's on the truck:p:
