now ur gettin into head and wild pipes almost the cost of an engine.

all my cars still run 1 type of motor and stock exhausts. yeh i could get some more outta better pipes...but i can't validate it for myself right now.

fantom, turbo plug...so either $$$ plugs or another 15bux or so 4 standard head. now ur talkin 200bux or so and in realm of other motors.

PS ever see a ?B mod'd s7 Hyper owner get mad when ur 25MT'd truggy runs w/him down the straight then passes him in the infield a 1/2lap later? if u get a good motor that has good manners, treat it right and make effective use of ur power (not to mention setups-more to be gained) that u can toast all the $$$$ rigs.

why would you change the head button to a normal plug style, the turbo plugs cost about the same as a normal, and imo are a better plug, last longer seal better etc

I want to get a good low end pipe regardless sorry. Which engine has better low end?
Fantom or mach.

now apply the same thing that you just said to a high power rig and what happens ???????

try southeastrc.com they had the fantom .27 on sale if you call...then get the HPI pipe...cheap solution...evil power....and decent engine....you could set the whole thing up for under 200 I'm sure......the specs say they turn 43,000 RPM at 2.9 HP....good bottom end that's not too wild but a top end that is just plain sick......

Hey ult how is the mach on the bottom end?

I'm finding the turbo plugs don't last me as long as my standard plugs......I get about 1/4 to 1/2 gallon on a turbo plug....my OS-8 in the RG has over a galllon on it now and still kicking strong.....what turbo plugs you using.....I run the dynamites in a fantom .27......

what plaid no rg !!!!!! LOL

hey he was talkin BIG block engines.....maybe if OS would make an RG .27......LOL....and Leave my RG alone....it still hangs w/ the best of em....

Mike I'm actually lookin for a high power .21 mill now...I was thinkin a P5......I've been hearing too many horror stories of the V-spec lately to make me feel easy about them.....5 people I've talked to at the track got bad bearings in them....yes OS waranteed it but I just don't need to drop 3bills on a mill to have it crap out on me....

I like the mach over the fantom. I just dont want to get burned on the track because i dont have a fast enough engine. Lots of revos, so my prospec is hungry for em...

dont need to worry bout motor. suspension setup, tuning, traction and driving will take care of it for you. you could put a small block in your truggy and be fine, yes i said it. some people doin it. garen @ GS has a 2nd SUT he races w/.15 in it.

trust me u'll be fine.

Alright cool. I know you race truggys hard core.
Also i need alittle high end not much. There is one staraight where you stay wot for about 4 secounds. Mach still ok?

What do you reccomend for setup? Gearing, ect...

what spurs can u get 4 your car? i ran 13/54 in the SUT 4 what its worth. prolly could have went to 14/54 to curtail the power on the traction-challenged track i run on. prolly would have if we ran an enduro or long main. (we have 180' straight off a bend, 2 other tracks i go as low as poss, 12/54).

I run a 44 spur and 14 bell right now i think. Its a prospec being converted to a truggy. I will check my gearing. I'm going with the mach. Thanks for all your Ult. I race at Hobby Stop. There are no traction problems. Its almost like asphalt.

eck, get up to at least 48, ur prob now would be tryin to wind up, or workin ur motor over to try and do that. start at 12/48 (dependin on tires height) and see what gives. asphalt, i know a lotta bad asphalt. if its dirt, traction will be a concern. clay ok, but dirt, either its rock hard w/dust film developin over it, or its soft and rutted and thus gross power isnt worth the time lost spining wheels or snap-steering outta control.

Ok i will see how high i can go. I dont think its 44 though. Its the stock prospec gearing...
