btw, u wanted snap, but have a long WOT straight and u worry bout topend ;)

Pierow,
Sorry, the 063 is the bottom end pipe, the 053 is midrange. Also, an 2050 is an excellent bottom-midrange pipe too. I may have a 63, a 53 and an 86, for $30. each, the only bummer is I only have one header to sell.
As far as turbo plugs go, mine have lasted quite long. The Novarossi motors make power all the way from the bottom to the top.

hey sarge< did you get the list of pipes from your buddy for me yet?????....I'm lookin for another .63 and maybe a 53 too.....I can try and meet ya next weekend and pick them up....

not followin you, what u mean?

well your saying that u can blow a top end motor with a low end motor if the setup is correct, but if the setup is correct for the top ender with a good driver, it will walk over the low end motor, just meaning apply your statement the other way, on the top end motor rather than the low end

I'm finding the turbo plugs don't last me as long as my standard plugs......I get about 1/4 to 1/2 gallon on a turbo plug....my OS-8 in the RG has over a galllon on it now and still kicking strong.....what turbo plugs you using.....I run the dynamites in a fantom .27......
Plaid i only use the like of the nova plugs, far supperior to any other plug, i found the os8 to burn out pretty quick, or just start giving a bit of greif

Mike I'm actually lookin for a high power .21 mill now...I was thinkin a P5......I've been hearing too many horror stories of the V-spec lately to make me feel easy about them.....5 people I've talked to at the track got bad bearings in them....yes OS waranteed it but I just don't need to drop 3bills on a mill to have it crap out on me....
high power standard motor u can't go passed a 421b, but there a little to much to handle, I've just put a p5 in my prospec and mate it rocks, bit of a difference from my rbs

the guy I usually pit w/ runs a prospec and a P5...he's the guy to beat at mills pond....that thing is just unreal w/ bottom power and it get's to the ground really well on his setup....I'm thinking of going over to the MUGEN camp soon so I can just copy chassis setups from more people and the parts availability is there.....sucks cause the XB8 flies so much nicer than the mugen IMO......I can't run a mugen w/o brakes ....more so for the jumps....I ran the c main saturday w/ no brakes and just kept it going easy.....it was pretty easy to do....the 421 just seems like a very finely tuned engine....I see guys w/ those things getting ridiculous w/ tuning...things like shimming the head to tune it and the carb venturi thing...I dunno if I really want to get into all that kind of stuff at the track.....too much contaminants floating around in the air for me to want to crack my mill open there.....

Plaid,
I'm still working on a deal, I'll let ya know either way.
I just finished breaking in my P5 @ about 12 tanks of Odonnel. Now I'm ready to start leaning her out. I've been running it with a rag wrapped around the head to get it up above 200, as I had it very rich on both L & HSN settings. Best of both worlds, good temp with plenty of lubrication. I'll begin leaning her out tomorrow, by wednasday I should have her race ready.

Not sure? Is your email back up? Give me a call. I'm hitting the track Wednesday and this coming Friday, it's open practice all day, you ought to come up if you can, about 1 1/2 hr drive at best. I make it to Hollywood from my house in 1 1/2 hrs, and the track is a lot closer. There's a state race up here on Saturday and Sunday.

standard monster truck is no bigger than a .15 according to the rules. Now with all these bigger engines coming out they created 3 monster truck classes. small block which is .15, big block which is up to a .21, and then unlimited anything bigger than a .21. Determine which class you are going to run and then decide on your engine. I just recently watch one of those .46 savages run. Pretty impressive.
