Those look very familiar. I'm keeping mine in a bag. (For what, I don't know.)

I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy the behavioral difference.

Did you cut that shift fork shaft?

I have two sets of those parts sitting in a bag too, and like wdavidhicks said, I have no idea why either. I will never put reverse back in my maxxes. :nope:

The only R problems I had was If I didnt get it to work It didnt want to kick outa R unless I shut the Maxx off. I head this is cuz the idle is to high. but even lowering it Didnt help. So bye bye R.

cut the shift fork??

Diretions didnt show anything like that. I still have the tranny out. So please explain more befor I put it back in.

Thanks

i didnt have to cut the shaft to get the shifting fork out. all i did was remove the pillow ball scrwed int he end of the shaft and it slide right out. i have my parts sitting in a box. i love the FOC in my t-maxx, but sometimes i wish i still had the reverse, like when u run into a wall.. or a house.. or a tree, then u have to go and get it and turn it around. the sportmaxx tranny is nice too, good consistant, dont have to worry bout the shift point and they are dirt cheap.

I'll agree to that.

yea like today, i went off a jump and ran into the side of our garage and i had to go and get it. and another thing is when u land on ur lid, they should make something that will flip it back over or like a round roll cage, so the truck rolls back over.

ya the fliping this Everyone would love if it was light and simple.

kinda like on robot wars on TV... :)

but I dont see that happening. Id just like the remote starter like that one dude build but nobody knows about anymore.

i can never find Battle bots ne more, that show was great. that remote car sharter would be good, but most of the time my truck stays running the whole time i bash, unless i run out of gas.

Its usually on the dis. channel.

my Maxx syas running for the most part 99% of the time but the times It does die Its always the furthest away, or in the mud. The remote start for how small it was would be a nice add on.

yea but its just like the reverse, u will only use it once and awhile. and just like the reverse it will come in handy.

Just letting you know, you need that original shaft for the RRP FOC. It doesn't come with one, just pieces to put on the original revers/forward axle. And this shaft is smaller than traxxas FOC, so using the traxxas FOC shaft won't work.

I just found out. My wife bought me all new gears from RRP and i had to go digging for that shaft. Unfortunatly, they don't really tell you that. They give you a picture that doesn't look like the FOC shaft. But who has looked at the shaft from the reverse after they replaced it with a traxxas FOC??? I didn't. So i didn't remember the little ears that are on that shaft.

Just to keep it in mind that you may want to hold on to those pieces.
