Susan made French onion soup for dinner tonight. Sided with a Caesar salad with her mother's homemade dressing. Washed it down with a watermelon Mountain Dew.

My wife and I met up with her mother and aunt and uncle, this morning, at Cracker Barrel for breakfast.
I got 2 eggs, fried catfish, hash, grits and gravy. Also had a couple of biscuits, a piece of the wife's ham and a whole French toast.

Mama just ordered a real one. The Hells Canyon. It's a chicken, white cheddar, Monterey jack, jalapenos, blue cheese.

It is a lovely butt burner...

Susan made chicken piccatta this evening. I think this may have been her best attempt yet! I spritz a healthy dousing of green pepper Cholula on mine.

A buddy just joined a the town's fish and game club. I was his guest, and we had a fun couple of hours shooting handguns and my AR-15, on this freakish, gorgeous 60°F day here in NH, in the middle of February!
After the shooting session, we met up with some other friends for lunch. I got the bacon jalapeno ranch burger.

The last Jalapeno burger I had was smothered in them and it lit up my mouth and put tears in my eyes. I don't know where they got their jalapenos but they were the hottest I'd ever had. Still sounds good though.

Today's jalapenos were normal heat, but one it twice I have gotten jalapenos that were habanero hot!

I washed my hands 2 or 3x. An hour later I went to take a leak and blow my nose. About the time my nose started burning, my junk started to heat up. That was the last time I had them, circa 2010.

When it burns your junk, it is certainly hot!

Tonight, I made killer tacos! I decided to do a combination of beef and pork for the meat. I've never used this combo for tacos before. I like it....a lot! Also added a little bit of frozen corn to the proteins.
My taco construction: sour cream, Taco Bell Baja sauce, fresh jalapenos, Monterey Jack cheese, cheddar cheese, cilantro, and romaine lettuce. Killer!
Think I'm going to make it like this from now on. I didn't realize until I was eating, that it's Tuesday.....Taco Tuesday!
