I get to pick out a couple of thing for my crawler for x-mas and I'm having the hard time picking. what would be some good stuff to get I'm looking into turning it in to a comp crawler but its going to take some time. so what would be a good start on doing that? :\

What kind of budget we talking here?

well right now i have about 80 bucks for right now but. getting more in the next week but that is what i have to start with.

I guess the question is what have you done so far? is it a completly stock AX10 which version of the AX10 do you have? things that make a huge difference would be to 4 link the front and rear, some white Rovers. a dig set up.

its basicaly all stock and its the axial ax10 scorpion. I was looking at the 4 links. i have the Machined High Clearance Bent Links on it they are bigger then the tube ones. will the 4 link fit with those on there

Four link will be for you upper links, not lower. What tires are you running? Rpp has Rovers with stock foams for buy one pair get the second free for $18 right now.

ok i got it i have the stock tires on it. but iam looking a some on ebay right now.

cool thank for the help. I ordered the the 4 links and the tires. and got some losi crawler shock. but can't have it till x-mas. and that sucks;). I have one other question on the dig unit, What is required to install it and to operate it?

Depends on wich dig it is but you will need a servo and a 3 channel radio with 3rd position switch for sure....One other thing, just to be safe, try to just look around for parts at places like East End Machining, RPP Hobby, TCS CRawlers, Amain, ckrc and so on, try to stay away from the bay if you can. There to much crap on there that can just totally waste your money.

oh ok. thanks for that I m just looking for a good set up that will work. Ya i seen a set up on ebay for 50 bucks and that came with the dig unit and the trans and it was already built. but ill look at the places that you told me to look at

Some units you might find on ebay might be a pain in the ass to get replacement parts for. Oh, you will need adjustable end points too or you will just burn up the dig servo. So if your radio has them for the 3rd channel, great, if not then you will need a servo stretcher.

I ordered the stuff last week and got it in the mail yesterday but can't have it till x-mas.:\ just wanted to say thank for all the help:D afterbuying this stuff i just want to keep on buying more and more stuff. but i think that I'm going to maybe try in making some of the stuff. and see how it works
