What motor will fit the Revo? I've heard about a OS .18 that is supposed to be very immpressive, but is it that much better? We wants wheelies on demand! It seems that the Sirio.23 is very pricey @ $300.00. I have a hard time justifying that much money. What about the Wasp .26 or .28? I was also told by a Traxxas rep that they've had very good success with the OS-V .21.
Any advise on what works, what's affordable and what to avoid?
Thanks.

I'm in the same boat as you right now. And everyone has so many different opinion's. I was at Hobbytown the other day and was told 3 different things. One guy said the Sirio was the only way to go then when a second opinion was asked for the other guy said the sirio was over priced and that the Picco was the best one he has ever seen. Then some other guy there piped up and said to go with a wasp. At this point I am throwing my hands in the air and going with what I know best O.S.!!! The easy tunability and reliability I have always had with O.S. is what i beleive to be UNMATCHED by any motor I've ever used. I beleive that the llittle bit of power you will sacrifice with the O.S. you will deffinetly get that back in the enjoyment of not having to constantly tune the truck everytime you run it. so there my 2cents. And oh yeah I just ordered my O.S. from tower so Ill let you know how it works out

I have an sh .28 in my savage and it rocks. 3.5 hp and its all there. I plan on poping it in my revo when i buy it, so illl see how that works.

big blocks fit in revo, but you do know you'll need a big block kit right. one of the best ones going seems to be by qoncepts. they have a wasp.26 revo video's on their site. if its wheelies on demand you want, check out their video's.

I've been hearing it hurts the center of gravity... watching the videos too, it is totally unstable. ~almost~ too much power...

Totally! it looks almost like its not fun because all it does is wheelie and flip over. Plus the one thing I do like about my Revo is the ease of use. Anytime I want to run it i just grab my ezstart fill it with fuel and go. Unlike my buggys that i hardly ever run because its such a hassle to get out the starter box hook it up to my car battery etc. I'm puttin the OS in a leavin it alone

So, what model and # OS motor? What's the Tower price? I was told that there's a .21 for the Revo, but it's a bored out small block.

its the O.S .18TM Revo manifold. make sure it says revo manifold because they make the same motor with maxx manifold too. search tower and you'll get prices.
