is it not tuned??? is there supposed to be alot of smoke coming out the exhaust pipe when iam not pushing down the throttle button. I start up the car and it stalls after about a couple of minutes, then it is even longer to start up after it stalls, what the heck is the prob. maybe i should be patience and keep trying, i dont know what is going on. I have check the glow plug and it is ok, i dont think i am flooding the engine, but how mcuh should i push the primer on the fuel tank. I need help plz!!!!

also when i start it up i have to hold down the throttle button all the way to get it moving, i have a savage .21 if that helps. i keep turning the hsn rich to lean and then lean to rich!!!!! what am i doing wrong

you have to adjust your idle needle, that prevents it from dying... when you get it started, give it a little gas, hold it and turn the idle clock wise then let go of the throttle if it starts to die, turn it slowly clockwise till you feel it is good then apply the brake and if starts to die turn it a little bit more clock wise..

so i dont have to touch the lsn at all, i am curious why would you need to to mess with the lsn. and thanks i hope that helps, also i have one more question could i ruin the engine if i move the idle needle too much???

the LSN doesn't determine your engine stalling on idle or braking.. the idle needle does that.. the LSN is for your Low speed, HSN is your High speed, and the Idle needle is for your idle..:wtf:

Kinda....the LNS can affect your idle as well. If it's lean it will idle high, and if it rich it will bog down a bit.
Pissant, it sounds as if you are running a little heavy on the rich side. Try turning your HSN clockwise a 1/8 of a turn and then run it for 2 or 3 minutes and bring it in to check it out. Repeat that untill the problem is fixed. Tune your HSN untill you have your top speed set, and after you have that solved move on to your LSN for better accelleration. If when you accellerate it bogs down, make 1/8 turn (1/16 turn if you really wanna nail it) adjustments clockwise untill it's right. If when you accellerate it revs up fast than dies, richen it up by making the adjustments counter clockwise.
Hope you get it running like a champ!

Ohh yeah, adjust your idle speed so that it idles high enough where it will sit in place and run good, but not so high that the truck moves forward when not on the brakes.
