Want To Upgrade: HPI E-Savage

So, another of my "projects" is to upgrade me e-savage's motors and ESC.

Not worried about going BL, but bit iffy on LiPo as i'm not too up on the lingo of the batteries.

Anyone have any idea as to what i can do to give this thing some more pep ??

I already have an idea viz upgrading the diffs and drive-line, so that is not too much of a problem, it's just the motor, ESC and battery combo i need info on...

Any help appreciated.

yours needs more pep? mine is stock and will almost pull standing backflips..

I need to find better driveline components, i smash a driveshaft almost every time i run it.

CC Mamba Monster Max is a good bet on the ESC/Motor. LiPo gives the a better power output through the life of the charge, dropping off on performance at the very end of it. You will need a charger that is LiPo capable as well as a balancer to make sure the cells are close in charge.

As i said, i'm a bit iffy on LiPo, not just because of the lingo, but of the dangers inherent with that type of battery.

So what Kv motors would be best and what ESC gives me open options, i.e what esc has no limit as to motor choice ??
