Hey guys I'm looking at a venom creeper an its rtc its been used but i was wondering if they are good crawlers an what they are worth. it will be my first crawler experience. thanks!

I havent had any on hand experience with the creeper but I have heard they are O.K. Not really a comp rig imo but a good one for backyard crawling or just having fun. I would say depending on what its components are would determine the value.

I'm not sure I know it has a traxxas radio system. an a crawler esc i think. its purple. dont know what motor. anyways. thanks. dont think I will be competing.

Probably the Novak Crawler system. Decent setup. Id say probably 250 max for it. More like 200 or so.

I'm in the process of building one of these, it has been awesome to build. Maybe in a few weeks i'll have it ready to test, can't wait to crawl! haha

Yeah, but its brand new. The value of them with electronics used doesn't really add up fast. Unfortunatly they depreciate really fast.

I'm looking at them too

I'm trying to decide what I like best too. I've heard some bad things about Venom but I guess they try to make things right. I like the idea of the dig transmission.

Yeap it was a cool idea. Its been along time since they were released and venom hasnt pushed forward with them since they didnt do very well from a selling aspect.
They are a capable crawler for sure. Just dont have the after market support that the losi, axial, berg or bully's do.
Out of the box, the Losi's and axial rtr/rtc are the best bang for the buck to get started, or the rc4wd bully rtr. The losi's over the axials have the ability to be upgraded to a motor on axle setup for better competition use, which is a plus.
