The only thing I could find was the heat tolerance of 700 degrees farenheit on this page:

But, I'm a skeptic for this reason alone. I have had mills run as high as 450 degrees farenheit and has MAJOR problems due to fuel evaporating so fast. The engine head changed from blue to modest silver in minutes and I warped the con-rod. Had to replace the bearrings as well.

I'm sure it is much more enduring than a normal piston and sleeve, but unless they can make all of the internals out of that material I wouldnt be in a hurry to hit temps of 450 or higher.

I dunno - I could be all wrong. After all, we can only speculate.

If you run at 300 to 375 you can run with any .21 if you want to embarrass the track czar turn it up to 400 to 450.
BUT you must prepare by running a quality oil through the carb and piston. Putting Lithium Grease on the bearings and other areas.
At the bottom of the casing where the crankshift and connecting arm rotate is a good idea.
 
To make advances you have to take the first step.Starting with the piston & sleeve would be the logical start place upgrades in the other parts is sure to happen.
the power to weight ratio is what determines how good a vechile is,Its really hard to make a brick fly?
 
All the power you need can be done without a major engine overhaul. Less weight -- good setup -- more control -- cool operating temps (240) -- FASTER. Running at those temps sounds like short motor life. How long have you been running that hot? How many tanks? On most tracks, to much speed will cause you to lose.

you are so wrong

If changing a piston & sleeve is major engine overhaul ,What do you do when your glow plug goes bad?You can run at 240 to 270
and replace 10 to 15 abc piston &sleeves to just one AG piston&sleeve. Or do you just throw the engine away when the P/S goes bad
