Is it worth it to get upgraded ball bearings for the clutch bell, such as the Acer Ceramic Racing bearings? They're designed specifically for use in the clutch, but cost $10 more(for 2) than regular bearings.

The reason I'm asking is because since installing my .21TM(about half a gallon since break-in was finished), I've gone through two clutch springs, and two clutch bearings(once the inside failed, the second time the outer bearing failed). I'm tired of replacing these things. For this reason, I'm upgrading to the Integy 3pc clutch, and considering upgrading the BB. Any ideas?

I have never ran ceramic bearings but I have read alot of good things about them. If you have already gone through bearings and its only $10 more to upgrade to something better I say go for it! Never hurts to see if it helps for that little bit of money.

You could always upgrade to a 1/8th clutch bell though, that seems to make all the clutch issues go away. I'm just not sure what is compatible, and I believe if you do this you will have to change over your pitch to mod 1 on your spur gear. All the 1/8th clutchbells I have seen are mod 1.

IMHO upgraded clutch bell bearings are a waste of money. CB bearings wear out rather quickly despite how much money you spend on the bearings just due to the fact that they are in a high stress/high heat area. Any time your clutch is not engaged your bearings are spinning at the RPM of your engine. If you have a clutch slipping problem or a loose slipper you can really burn through bearings quickly.

I buy the 10 packs for $10 and just replace them regularly even if they're not blown yet. Typically I will swap them out every 1/2-1 gallon of fuel.
