i want to stud my stock tires but how do i get the tires off the rim? i've heard to boil them, is that true. it won't hurt anything. seems like it would take off the chrome which doesen't really matter because it started flaking off after the first ride.

I just fill the sink with hott water put the tire/rim in it and let it soak..Put something on top of it so it doesn't float i just used a rock, worked fine for me...

i finally got they off last night. it took forever though. i let them soak in warm and pulled ane pulled on the glue(my hands are sore today) and finally resorted to boiling. it really worked. i let them each boil really hard for about 10-15 minutes, and they just pulled right off. i don't think i am ever going to take a set of tires of the rims again though.
