Does anyone know if you can adjust the low end needle on the Truckzilla? I have heard that some motors you can not adjust the low end and the directions for the .46 do not reference the low end needle but there is a screw there... Anyone know???

Be careful Deano you have a three needle carb!! Usually the needle that is located inside of the throttle ball linkage is the low speed needle, it looks like a small screw. Usually the mid-range needle valve is located on the side where the fuel nipple is it usually is a large brass screw. You don't want to touch the mid range screw because it is set at the factory. If your motor is not idling right and you can't adjust it with the idle stop screw you may have to adjust your low speed needlevalve- clockwise=lean, counterclockwise=rich I would only turn the needlvalve about 1/16 of an inch turn each adjustment. But before you did anything I would call HB to confirm which one of the three needlevalves is the midrange valve.

Deano, i'll send a picture of the locations for the lsn, msn, hsn, and the idle adjustment screw. I'm at school right now.

Look for the pictures about 4 hours from now

Okay, I've got the pictures. Sorry it took a little longer than expected

To answer you question. The LSN, is the part on the carb that moves.

RICH!!! I'm only two tanks in on break-in. I think I might have some air leaks, so I gotta seal the engine up...I just haven't had anytime since finals are coming up and I don't want to clean my room (which is also my hobby room)

I think I may have some air leaks also. After running it for a few minutes, it seems to change sounds like it is getting bogged down. I have it leaned out to about 3 turns from closed(hsn). But other than that it runs real strong. I have had about 8 tanks of fuel thru it and it has some serious power!!!

Thanks for the pics Kwong2001. I wasn't sure about the Low end needle. I guys from Hot Bodies said that it was adjustable and also that the motor runs a little hotter and rev's a little higher than most .21 and .25-.26 motors.

Deano.. Just remember don't touch the mid range needle valve. It is set at the factory.
