hi guys... i was wondering if anybody new of an aftermarket aluminum carb for the 3.3 ... i was disassembling my engine and the screw on the side of the carb fell out... i looked in the hole and the composit was stripped out. if there is an aftermarket carb, what is the estimated price on one of these bad boys? thanks again...

keep on bashing!

yep what you need is a O.S. 11k (18tm) 21982000 its made by O.S. engines. a-main or tower hobbies should have it, its about $80, but worth every penny. i never got a 3.3 tuned good till i put the 11k on. i have a t-maxx and a jato both with 11ks on them. the 11k has 3 fuel adjustments. high speed , mid range, idle. for me it worked best when i adjusted the high speed mix ( a small amount is a lot, do not change it more than 1/8 turn at a time) , and idle mix first , then work the mid range. use just a dab of oxygen senser safe rtv on the round part that goes in to the engine, JUST A DAB. an amount so small you cound not use any less. why? so if some gets in the engine it will not do much damage. new idea it is a true bolt on, no mods needed.
