I know this string has been around for about two weeks, and I just have to put my .02 in here. My friend has the .27 Monster Trinity Sirio. It stays really cold, even when leaned out quite a bit. He said he was really disappointed with the performance. But, then again he's one of those people you can never please. I think it's a pretty nice engine. The only thing he has done to it, was to put a Crazy Nutz head on it. I have to agree with one of the other guys here on this string, you need to play around with the gearing a little. I would definatly go with the four shoe flywheel, etc. for maximum grip through your drivetrain. The only real problem he has had, was within about 4 or 5 times we wnet out to bash, his pullstart broke. A new one is $70.00 (no poop) What a rediculous price. Now, for my opinion: I would go with RB Concepts. I think they make the best engines money can buy. They make alot of power, and although the name is not real famous, they have been around for like years. Well, I hope whatever you get you enjoy it, and not break it.

I would imagine that just about anything with one of those heads would stay cool.

El P I would take his advice and look at an RB engine. There is no substitute.

LMAO...said in any language, well said.

EP,
The 27 runs great, what else can I say?
Flat out kicks some butt. Much higher quality than your $150-250 engines. The s27race can be had for under $400 and s27pro for about $350. It does blow away my picco 26 on the straights. I'll have a lot more feedback over the next few months.
Here's my 27pro in my hybrid maxx:s27pro

FYI, I've owned the Sirio 18. In my hands it leaves the 2.5 in the dust. I'm assuming that you are putting it into an MT, if so I'd would also consider the .26 Picco. I have one and the low end is killer. RB will be my next victim for testing...
