I've been reading about the Slayer pro 4x4 and it looks looks good and durable, but how good does it last?

My S-maxx motor is gone. Don't want to replace it yet.
I'll have to replace the fuel tank/lines too, forgot to empty the fuel and it gelled.:(

Been broke since August.
Already got $200 in to the S-Maxx as is, In parts...

Id rather get a new one that's better design.

How good is the Slayer Pro 4x4?:\

I'd imagine one would be pretty durable. Same thing as the Revo, but with shorter arms and way smaller/lighter tires. Which leads to less leverage on arms, carriers, rod ends, ect... You could have your Maxx up and running for around $100 though. The Slayer is gonna cost a little more.:)

I hear that the newer version is much better than the original.. the original slayer had a rollover issue from what i was told.. this one has a wider stance along with other improvements

I'm Thinking of getting the slayer pro for Christmas then repairing my Maxx this spring/summer.

If I buy the motor for the Maxx I'm wanting, I want it to be 70+ degrees outside.

The motor I want for it is $220.
