Hey guys, I just bought a new Rustler from my local hobby shop two days ago. It's my first hobby-grade RC car in over 12 years. Can you tell me if this is normal or if I'm doing something wrong?

When I put in the Traxxas 5800 mAh 2S lipo battery, the wire is pinched at the end, and doesn't fit into the slot for battery wires. I'm afraid that it is going to wear extremely fast since its so tight. Any suggestions?

Here are the images.

Thanks in advance!

This is how I put my batteries in on my rustler putting them up and not to the side if you Lipo doesn't fit use a bodywasher to raise it up and if that doesn't work flip the batty hold down

That's odd, my battery wires go perpendicular to the direction yours do. That is the problem. Any thoughts on how to fix that?

It should be ok. I don't believe any damage with come out of it.
