Traxxas Nitro 4-Tec RTR

I've found a new car from Traxxas that seems good.. I'm just into speed.. so , "Traxxas Says that this Car Will Go Over 60 Miles Per Hour Right Out Of The Box." it comes with the TRX 2.5 Racing Engine which is pretty good looking...

Plz let me know about n e thing that is wrong with this car or anything about this cars history that isnt good... thx

there has been alot of talk about this car. Basicaly - here is the scoop.
The Positives:
------------------------------------------------
The 4-tec has been around a while.
It is a great entry level car.
There is plenty of aftermarket support
It is pre-built and ready to run
It has an onboard starter
It is quite fast.

The Negatives:
------------------------------------------
Although Traxxas builds decent cars -upgrades are a must to make them last
The engine is not legal for racing
belt drive suceptable to damage
poor handling
not a proven race winner
difficult to upgrade to a competitive status
easily broken in a hard crash

So - what it comes down to is that if u are just gonna bash and have fun, this is a great car, but if racing is in your future, then look elsewhere.
