I got a older style t-maxx pro.15 (1999 i think) given to me by my uncle. It looked like it belonged in the dump. I restored it and put the trx 2.5R engine on it after a run-away into my swamp. Ever since day 1 traxxas glow plugs just would not ignite. I had the ez start on it with the pro .15 with the old style control. The 2.5r came with a pull start but i still use the ez start control to ignite the glow plug. It works fine with the other brand of glow plugs i used(i forgot what brand) and the traxxas glow plug is deffinately the right one but it just won't ignite. Even the one that came with the engine won't work! I brought them to my local hobby shop and told them that they wouldn't work so he threw one on a glow plug igniter and it worked!! Should i just stop being cheap and get myself a glow plug igniter?? thanks

will the stock glow plug igniter from a team losi muggy work?? I found one on ebay for $1.00 but that makes me think maby they don't work too well?

Any 1.2 or 1.5volt rechargeable glowstick igniter with atleast 1800mah will work perfectly...I have ones with the built-in Ni-cad and also the billet aluminum version you stick regular AA's in for a back-up....
