So I stripped a few teeth off either the reverse or forward gear in my trans so I replaced it and cleaned everything, no biggie, well now when I rotate the input shaft or either output shafts it spins free and nice for nearly a full revolution then hits a spot where it binds then you get past it and its smooth and free untill you hit that spot. I pulled it back apart and inspected everything and its all right, any ideas? Have I overlooked something? Not that it means a lot when it comes to these little beasts but I'm an experience automotive tech so i'm not a complete nob but am more then capable of mistake/error.

If your an experienced auto tech (like me) and you have allready double checked that all the spacers and washers are in there correct location. RUN IT.

I got a shiny new diferential that felt like GARBAGE. I asked the seller (big company) he tells me that he hears this question every day.

They just wear in.
