I have a stock exhaust for my tmaxx. I want a little extra porformance so I am willing to upgrade to a resonator or the like. which exhaust is the best for tmaxx's?

I just installed a THS pipe on mine. I've had limited run time with it since installation but my 3.3 does seem to be a bit punchier. I went with the THS because both the header/block and header/pipe connections are sprung (like 1/8 scale) instead of being screwed on or using a coupler.

I dunno the coupler seems pretty good. is it easier to take off or whatever? Does it effect the top speed?

I have the Traxxas Resonator pipe on my 2.5 and the Integy dual pipe on my 3.3, I love them both but the dual pipe is very loud. The Traxxas resonator pipe does have it's benefits, and it sounds really mellow.

I got my resonator pipe free, so far it was my best add on to the 2.5 (cost aside). I added that, and a motor saver filter. After a re-tune this thing really woke up. I'm very happy with it, but again it's the only pipe I've used on the 2.5. The integy pipe, to be honest the rear exit is nice because it doesn't make the mess on the body. The way mine is mounted it is protected by the bumper and the wheelie bar. If you were to hit something from the rear really hard I would immagine it's going to break the header or the pipe or at least bend the crap out of it. That is really the only downside to it other than sound, my 3.3 is heavy and still moves very fast with the pipe. I will say it's harder to block both holes to prime the engine or to shut it off though.

So which one whould IYO. THis one http://www.traxxas.com/products/nitro/maxx/tmaxx/accessories/5487_T-DC-R_web2.jpg or this one http://www.buytraxxas.com/images/products/4942.jpg? Also mine looks a lot like the first one. Not sure if it is stock anymore. can you post a pic of a stock exhaust pipe for the tmaxx #4910? thanks.

I have this one. Is it stock or a resonator? http://www.rocousa.com/Traxxas/Pictures/trx25exhaust.jpg

I have that first pipe, and that last pipe looks like the stock one (plastic).

I can't tell you much about other pipes but the resonator is nice! The moment I started my rig with the pipe on it I could tell a big difference. Sounds nice, looks nice, and a performance upgrade...good deal to me. I would recommend getting the resonator to anyone

yeah i have a resinator too. its loud as all hell and great performance increase in the low to mid range. great product IMO

Resonator. Sounds friggin awesome. Makes it real deep like a weed eater. Also adds a lot of top end and bottom end punch seemed a little better too.
