You bought a brick, lol. Actually I would check your carb if it works when not hooked up. You might have something in the carb causeing it to not be able to move freely. Another option is a busted up servo, got any spares to try?

when you say it doesn't work, do you mean by way of trigger on radio? how about if you manually give it gas with your hand?

When I disconnect is from the carb everything works great. I can move the carb back and forth fine. When I snap it on it just can do anything but a little movement.

If it is a slide carb you want to make sure that the linkage is as straight as possible with the direction of the slide itself.

If need be, rotate your carb a little to be STRAIGHT as possible with the linkage.

(linkage) (ballcup) (slide carb)

If it is even at a slight angle, you can easily lock up the slide barrel. To test my theory, apply a little side pressure while trying to pull open your carb by hand. You will see what I am talking about.

When you took it apart did you remove the horn from the servo? If so did you recenter it correctly? Also C's theory is correct if you moved the carb around if not then I wouldn't be to concerned about that. What all did you take loose? Did you undo linkage from teh bell crank? OR just the ballcup ???X

I'm doing my best to listin to you. I unscrewd it from the servo and took it off the ball cap. I took some photo's to show you

As you see there isn't much of a difference. I remind you that this all happend after a run-away when my throttle servo got wet:doh: Could this be the problem?

Take that air filter off and snap of pic of the linkage and the carb all in one photo. I think you may want to move your linkage out by at least on hole on the servo horn BUT I cannot see the carb to tell you.

Please get a pic without the airfilter up.

Thanks!

Thats the problem. Get more of the carb in the next pic. You want that linkage to be STRAIGHT with the barrel on the carb. Move it to the farthest outside hole to reduce the amount of carb rotation needed. You may hove smoked your servo by having it at such an 'off' angle.

Trust me on this one. Slides need to be as straight as possible with the linkages.

So you want me to gat onther pic?

Click Here for a vid of what my servo can do now. It look fine Ill still get a pic of the carb.

After you move it to the outside hole, remove the servo horn (if not off already), turn on both the RX and TX, set the throttle trim to the middle. Then, put the servo horn back on so that there is a slight backpressure on the carb, almost as if trying to close the carb more than you can (LIGHTLY!). Then screw it back down. Can you get that pic up once thats done?

dosent' look like you have the linkage adjusted correctly .... X

Everything is fine. I have my new step-pins on tighend my slipper and couldn't keep the front end down THANKS!

can you tell us the problem so if we come across this topic in the future we can help others?

was the the linkage put back on wrong?

Yeah I just had to fiddle with the linkage settings and move it further on the servo.
