Can a Gyro be installed in a TRAXXAS Slash 2wd car to help make it go straight coming out of a turn?

Yes a gyro can be installed but i think you will need a new rx/tx. If you have a brushed slash you probably have the tq radio. You can upgrade to a traxxas tqi which comes with a gyro. Or you could find a $50-80 dollar Amazon radio with a gyro. I believe spektrum systems have a gyro but I'm not sure of that.

The FS-GT5 comes with a good gyro included. Once you get the hang of your truck it'll probably just get in the way of your driving.

You can buy standalone gyros. They have an adjustment on the gyro to adjust how sensitive they are. I have seen some good gyros that work great on the track that other people were using, but any time I have messed with them, I ended up taking them out. Learning throttle control and setting the EXP in your Tx is the way to go.
