I'll probally end up with a whole editon of these. Thought I show some pictures of the stock Storm RTR's shock tower bent to hell and back as I was replaceing it witht he Harcore racing one. Notice that both sides are bent diffrent ways an the tower it self is bent forward. I'm that damn good!, lol.

I was bending mine when it landed on the wing. Hats off to GS for making a great wing/wing bracket. BOO to GS for making a weak tower.

EP needs to watch out. I've managed to break a rim off the hub and bend that shock tower to hell in two days, I may just steal his nick name from. You havent even seen the front shock tower yet, lol. If your wondering why it is discolored in spots, it's because I've heated them up witha propane tourch and bent them back about four times already.

Heat will detemper the metal. That's probably why they started bending easier.

It was one of those "do or dont run" situations and plus i couldnt afford to buy a new one at the time i was saving for the HCR one.

Yup, Error's right with the heat. Funny thing about aluminum. It only likes to bend just once. Whereas steel doesn't mind being bent back to it's original shape.

The best way to make those emergency de-bends, is to use a hammer and take your time. Don't just smack the crap out of it and try to straiten it in one blow. Once aluminum bends, it'll never be as strong as it was new, but with a little care and patience you can make it last a little longer.

Screw aluminum, titanium owns and I'll replace every part thats possible with titanium from now on. If i break somethign and there is titanium replacement ill keep the car broken till i have enough money to fix it the right way, the titanium way, lol

Right on bro. That's pretty much my philosophy too. If it breaks, it needed replacing anyway, and always upgrade.
