RC Driving Style

This must really take a lot of practice and a great car. Think i could be tempted to swap my t maxx for a bit a bit of that.

Drifting

I am not sure about the giro but that would explain the good car controll. But i do know the tyres cost more than the tyres for my t maxx. Not sure any amount of fancy tyres is going to make my t maxx go like that though.

yea i saw that last week looking through you tube, thats some good driving, i think you would have to lock the rear some how so it drifts

Thats pretty sweet. I bet he goes threw a set of tires a tank though. But still sweet, the upclose shots look real!

Seen that vid. Its from HPI's Website. They are using the HPI Drift Assist or the "D-Box". It's great to let you drift on courses like that but if you really want to do that, practice without it and you will see the control...or lack thereof when you do. I like to drift but without anyone close to keep into it is a real bummer. I drifted with a NTC3 and some PVC pipe tires. You don't need a top of the line engine, just a RTR mill and correct gearing. Practice that way. As soon as you can control the car you will see that its not about speed but control first. Once attained, try doing it with speed LOL.

Tokyo Drift...neat stuff....Nice car and of course, what I lack....great driving skills.

With the right tires, drifting is effortless.

As long as I don't have to follow a set course.
Any huge parking lot would work, but I'd hit the only light post.

Drifting tyres

With the right tires, drifting is effortless.

I was told this too. But the tyres are very expensive i am told. I dont know how true it is but they are steel banded to stop the bloating effect on the tyres at speed. Hard as nails too but no tred. Like i say though i am only told this by the mate who showed me the vid.

I still want one though...
