Think my servo is toast?

I'm thinking my servo is toast and it going out is maybe what's contributing to the truck randomly not responding?
That's not a servo issue. That is a Tx/Rx issue. You're getting interference. The signal from the throttle is intermixing with the servo channel. Has the Rx been wet?

Oh yup lol. Just finished the vid. Replace that radio with something else and see.

You sure you have the servo in to CH1 slot 1 and the esc in CH2 Slot 3? TRX receivers have 2 CH1 slots and can get mixed up with the throttle if you don't pay attention lol.

If that's not the issue then receiver probably got wet. Dang, false advertising Traxxas? I thought their receiver boxes were waterproof?

Beat The Creek cleaning up moisture aftermath?
yeah, i was going to swap recievers as i assumed i had drowned this one. both the rx & tx got wet,

positive they are in correct channels, when i go normal throttle they both work correctly, its only at the lightest trigger pull that this happens,

ill try a flysky reciever and see if it still happens. this savox servo that it came with has been noisy since day 1, and it grinds quite a bit was why i was thinking it was the servo, made me think of when i got the ecto servo wet back in the day and t would just twitch on its own

i figured it was a reciever problem while we were att the creek, so i grabbed a few extra recievers while i was there. unfortuanately i didnt grab any other controllers lol. but i have a few flyskys

Savox servos are a bit loud to begin with. Pull it apart and have a look inside. They are rebuildable.

YOUUU could rebuild it, i can take it apart and look at the gears then put it back almost how it was lolol

Its probably moister in a servo that is effecting all of them ,take them apart an hit them
with a hair dryer ,more than likely ,it maybe the ESC!
the servo WAS submerged in soup mud, I'm thinking a cleaning inside would help yeah. the esc

its still got everything from when @MVRCA wrote this article about it as far as i know. the only thing I've swapped were the tires and wheels. everything else is still just like he sent it, ill have to go re read and see if he did anyhting with the esc,

i just gaver her a look and remembered its got a hobbywing quickrun pro brushless, no esc its in the can so i dont think thats in the issue area, think esc is fine, reciever is muddy and has definately gotten wet more times than it should, I'm going to try swapping recievers later today

Servo Stuck... Then Normal Again

Last time I had the SL out at track, I cartwheeled the thing hard. I thought I had a rock stuck in the bell crank, because I could only turn the wheels one direction. I didn't see anything jammed in there, but brought the truck inside to investigate.

Took servo apart... I thought the gears may have broke/chipped off causing something to bind inside. I found nothing wrong. I put the gears back on the posts, and the darn thing is back to normal again.

I put the servo back the truck; connected the linkage, and worked the full range of steering about a hundred times with some force applied to the tires. Servo is good... for now.
After the wreck, did you test the servo again before pulling it?
