As in discontinued? That's a bummer if so. They seem to have a short model life (AE)?
I have an OG Kaiju, which I ended up extending to an EXT. I've seen folks break the chassis on them but never have myself. The only jumping I do is snowbanks during winter, otherwise I only run on a backyard track the rest of the year. People say plastic and cold don't mix, but aside from the bodies being more brittle, I haven't had any real issues with cold weather bashing. I abuse the crap out of my Xmaxx on the snowbanks, loves it!!✊🤘🍻

It kind of looks that way, but I’m not sure. They don’t show any in stock on the associated website and other online places have cut the price quite a bit on them. It’s almost tempting to just buy another one for parts 🤣 I see sliders on eBay for $250 or a whole rtr for $350

$350?! That's a killer deal! Too bad Jenny's never got into AE stuff..

Yeah that’s what they going for now. I haven’t had problems getting stock parts for it, but there is no aftermarket/upgrade stuff for it that I can find. Aside from rpm arms. And it really hasn’t been a bad truck, everything we have broke was 100% our fault. The worst was a head on wide open collision with the tmaxx 🤣 If I remember correct the tmaxx drove away 😂

I forgot it met a fence post wide open too 😂

Any suggestions? From what I've read on AF, the alternatives are not much better.
That's what I have gathered about the 3S Granite driveshafts too.

I think they will be fine. The new style is much better. Busted a many older, thinner type. These are good. Comes stock in the Gorgon & I have a spare set I picked up & haven't needed them.
New style? Have they redesigned them? They look the same.

The pic you posted looks like the new, thicker axles. I have 3s Senton I got several years ago, & broke the axles alot. So I shelved it. Later, I added cheapo china metal axles but I pinned them & epoxied the springs. They do ok. Little noisy.

When I got the Gorgon, I compared them, the Gorgon to my busted Senton ones. They are different. Gorgon are thicker. I bought spares from a kit breaker on ebay that came out of a Gorgon. They are thicker too. If the China ones bust, I have Gorgon ones to go in the Senton.

Interesting. I'll look into the Gorgon axles.

I need some of them for the Granite. Hmm.

I have friends that just won't let me leave RC. Having a blast learning to drift.

Look at you go. Next you'll be buying a Yokomo lol.

My son has been wanting a drift car. Now that the MST RMX 2.5's seem to be in stock I need to grab him one.

Next up is a 1:24 scale actually. Probably a DRZ V3, DA 3, etc. Because I can drift in the kitchen and garage. Nowhere to drift outdoors here. Though a 1:10 would be more forgiving and easier to learn.

I have, they don't get great reviews in the small scale drift community.
Oh. Good to know. I looked at the ones you mentioned. I never knew 24th scale drift was a thing until I saw that Rhino Racing one a few months ago.
