.....and contemplating how you're going to pay rent that month.
Like I said, You can sleep in a car, but can't race a house.

Ill check back in, in 4 years ;)

Might be having a pack of roman noodles for dinner that night though, for spending 2k on car parts 😅 🫢

Ill probably regret it. But, you can sleep in a car, but you can't race a house.
Speaking of cars, do you have your first car? What do you plan on getting?

Ill have Moms car that just got work done for my first car, whenever she racks up some money to get a newer (used/preowned) car and after we trade in or get rid of the Traverse. Or I can convince her to keep the Traverse so I can V8 swap it for a sleeper SUV. Lol.

(Moms car is a 09 Malibu 2LT, it has the torquey V6 in her. Although on its 3rd engine and 2nd transmission at I think 135k or 140k miles.)

After a couple years depending on money and the market at that point, always on market place looking at 3rd gen Integra's.

Convinced on looking into Golden Era Honda's as 1, my uncle knows them, and 2, they are easy to work on. And simple.

S.U.V= Sleeper Utility Vehicle. Mine is a 2001 Toyota Tundra. It has a aftermarket radio and a 600 watt amp with a 8'' subwoofer. I plan on putting a flow master 40 series muffler on it and tinting the windows. 😝
Amazing build right there.

Id put sub/s in the Malibu but I don't want to get rid of the factory SXM/6 disk CD changer. It has a amp from the factory and its pretty good sound system anyways.

Car parts is a different kind of bill. Thats something that I would be happy about. Lol

I told mom, I could have gave her a set of wheel bearings for 20 bucks! Fast Eddy so they are good. Only if they offered them in 1:1 size.

Oh yea. Question, but ideally a question for google. Are wheel weights for cars light enough to use as optional/additional tuning weights for example on my race buggy or mini b?
on rc wheels weights are clay just check out @Littlemotor posts on tires and wheels

I have a 1000 watt 12 inch sub in my subie 🤣

In the end for all of that, imo, 1800 isn't that bad. And thats with the family/friends discount at the shop we go too. They always treat us well.
My oldest son, 28, just got a job as a mobile service tech for a really large automotive ownership company here. They own Ford, Nissan, Honda, Hyundai, etc dealerships around here. He's got a van & goes out to people's homes to do service tech like that on the spot. He worked with me at the machine shop for 5-6 years & learned CNC & manual machining. Then had a job as a maintenance tech for a huge manufacturing facility. Got a broad knowledge of different things & landed him a good job making good money w/ tons of benefits. When he's not on the road, he does service tech at the dealership. Not a bad gig.

My uncle has x2 10in subs in the truck, and x1 12in sub in the Civic. They kick

Well there goes all of our hearing lol

@paytonimusrex
His first engine lasted a good 10 years. 2nd engine lasted early 2022-early 2024.
This engine that is blown, he shifted into 4th gear at 8500rpm. Boom.
