I got rid of Xfinity a couple of years ago, saved about $100/mo, and couldn't be happier with its replacements.
I went to T-Mobile home internet ($55/mo) and Hulu with live local tv(about $65). On top of all the savings, I'm getting more features that I would have had to pay extra for with Xfinity/Comcast. With all the extra that I'm getting now, it would have cost me probably an additional $100/mo with X/C!
I might look into that for here. My rural area though, might not have the T-mobile. I'm on the end of the Xfinity line, or my neighbor. Next to that is a huge farmers field.

College isn't for everybody, and it's too ridiculously costly nowadays to go because "everyone" says you should.
You love cars, so auto tech is what I see you doing and having the best shot at being happy with. This field is changing rapidly due to all the constantly changing technology. Pretty soon, it'll be the equivalent of an engineering degree. Also, you never know where your occupation will lead you. I know lots of people who today, have occupations that has nothing to do with what they went to school for
This is all true. Good friend of mine got a Industrial Engineering degree & does insurance adjusting for a big company, but handles only Industrial type claims, having a engineering degree, he's great at the structural / technical side of the claim. Makes $$$

You've got to have a strong cell signal for this to work. I believe they give you a 30 day trial.

Little ones can get away with almost anything...

It truly has been a year since the old track went down. 🥺

Quitchyer bitchin and start a new one... yeesh!

:joyful:

I have narrowed down my choices but aren't so sure.

Either apprenticeship and getting started in automotive (liked what we talked about @CertifiedMike )

Or doing to a automotive tech / trade school.
The Armed Services always needs motor pool / transportation guys... I suggest the USAF (best food and best quarters). They'll pay you while you learn too.

Then you help me find a big enough spot for a decently sized 1/10 carpet track, Mini Z track and drift track, under 2k per month, and also help me find RCP track, EOS carpet, and other supplies.

Mylaps and LiveRC subscription?!? That's well above me lol

Yea, can't happen with todays standards.

Remembered, yesterday, when I had mentioned about  Bills? Unexpected bills are much, much worst!

Car parts is a different kind of bill. Thats something that I would be happy about. Lol

I told mom, I could have gave her a set of wheel bearings for 20 bucks! Fast Eddy so they are good. Only if they offered them in 1:1 size.

Oh yea. Question, but ideally a question for google. Are wheel weights for cars light enough to use as optional/additional tuning weights for example on my race buggy or mini b?

OK, just remember you quoted this when you're adulting and are making about $20/hr.

Ill check back in, in 4 years ;)

Might be having a pack of roman noodles for dinner that night though, for spending 2k on car parts 😅 🫢
.....and contemplating how you're going to pay rent that month.
