I don’t miss school I do miss college though

Starting auto tech salary is 33k a year. Y'all think if I make that much when I start, is it better than anyone else my age? 🤔

Meh. Average is 34k for people after HS
it’s not great but if you got at a dealership you’d prob make more tbh

Between 20 and 30 an hour. Not that bad

Since I'm taking a apprenticeship class, technically I can get paid while training and learning so that imho is better than going to auto school, unless you want to get more knowledge on a specific thing

Life's tough man 💪 😅🤣
Don't you just love it when a seller says "will ship asap" and it takes them a reminder and 5 days to ship it.

Ok @Xraycer
I understand lol

I have narrowed down my choices but aren't so sure.

Either apprenticeship and getting started in automotive (liked what we talked about @CertifiedMike )

Or doing to a automotive tech / trade school.
HVAC techs make well. My trade school offers HVAC training, diagnostic, & building techniques for ducts. Skilled trade. Not everyone can bend & make those ducts. Good money in it. Not very dirty either 😉

College isn't for everybody, and it's too ridiculously costly nowadays to go because "everyone" says you should.
You love cars, so auto tech is what I see you doing and having the best shot at being happy with. This field is changing rapidly due to all the constantly changing technology. Pretty soon, it'll be the equivalent of an engineering degree. Also, you never know where your occupation will lead you. I know lots of people who today, have occupations that has nothing to do with what they went to school for, and are doing extremely well, financially.

The bill thing was not really a joke. You're going to have lots of 'em!

I already pay bills. It's called my monthly AMain order 😅😬

I ain't helping to pay cable that's for sure. It's around 230 or around 300 a month I think. We have Xfinity

And mom don't wanna get rid of it sooo.
I got rid of Xfinity a couple of years ago, saved about $100/mo, and couldn't be happier with its replacements.
I went to T-Mobile home internet ($55/mo) and Hulu with live local tv(about $65). On top of all the savings, I'm getting more features that I would have had to pay extra for with Xfinity/Comcast. With all the extra that I'm getting now, it would have cost me probably an additional $100/mo with X/C!
