You could poney up and buy a decent Arrma rig.

. Maybe a 4s line of rig.

.I will never buy another traxxas as long as I live.

.
I'm on the fence about selling my Revo and Jato.
I enjoyed the Revo til I blew the trans. I have a new one in a bag waiting to install.
Traxxas business practice is whats killing it for me. I shouldn't let it bug me but putting other companies out of business sucks. This is a small industry with little competition and little innovation.
WE NEED MORE R/C COMPANIES!
Traxxas will always suck for that in my mind.
The Jato is fun but has been sort of useless. I need a football field to open it up and steer it so it sits unused.
They don't hold special places in my heart like it was my first kit. I just don't think I'll get much $ for them so they're in limbo right now.
I won't buy another Traxxas product.
I'm looking for "better?" or different... New Kyosho buggies don't blow me away but I love the old ones so I'm restoring a couple now.
Even with 30 difference, Kyosho quality on my Optima Mid is lightyears ahead of Arrma's.
I guess I just expect once we all learned that metal was better than plastic, I wouldn't have to worry about plastic any more.
Clearly I was mistaken.
I liked the Granite because its still somewhat small.
I race 1/10 scale. I know 1/10 scale and I'm comfortable running a 1/10 scale.
1/8 is fine with a bigger area to run and all but not really what I want.
I feel like 4s is the start of "too big" buggies and such.
There is a write up with a guy who built a "4s" Granite with short (fury maybe?) 4s arms etc so it was still the same, original size but tougher truck.
I might go that route after I'm through with my kyosho builds but I don't know.
I bought the Arrma to just run and bash.
Like if Youboob ppl are jumping these things off 11' skate ramps and surviving, surely they'd be fine in my back yard with a 1"piece of plywood, right?
I didnmt mean to imply brand hate. There are thousands of ppl who love their 6s Arrmas. I feel like I was mislead and am unhapoy with 1 of the 2 products that I own from Arrma.
I am spread too thin. I don't want to HAVE to upgrade my bashers in order to bash, I just want to bash.
Unfortunately, I feel like Traxxas did a disservice to us all and I don't feel good supporting that. I think the buggies they make are quite nice. Its unfortunate.
