Tamiya Jeep CC-01 Already Dicontinued

Damn, that was a short release! Looks like Tamiya has already discontinued the recently re-released Jeep YJ. Well that sucks! I was hoping to get to pick up another one before this happened.

Are they killing the body or the chassis, or both.

Not the chassis, the CC-01, which is the same as the old XC, has and will be around for a long time. The rumor is a new CC-01 FJ40 will be coming out. I am wondering if Pro-Line getting the Jeep liscensing has anything to do with this. Which would mean the HPI Rubicon may be next. That will not be good for me since my tuber is built around that lid, so I am gonna have to get a few of those too before they are all gone. :\

They may have lost the license from Jeep on the body.

Then again the crawler version CR-01 is still available.

I didn't even think about the CR-01, but that truck is useless for anything other than the body.
