So my nephew got gifted a vintage Tamiya Bear Hawk from his other grandpa 7 months ago.

He's not at all into it and the car is just sitting there doing nothing.

I want to make them an offer to buy it. Purely to clean (it runs and is in working condition) it and put it on a shelf. Unless they wanna keep it for nostalgic reasons.

What does ya'll think a good offer is?

start low and have a set limit to go to. nib is 700$ id start with 25$..

Thanks.

Here is a crappy pic of it.

IF I manage to buy it, I could look at changing the brushed motor and mechanical ESC out for a brushless. But thinking I should keep it stock if it's going to be a shelf queen after the clean.
