RC Driving Style
The MaxxSkunkworks workhorse. Carefully maintained and ready to rip.

Make an offer...

T-Maxx .15 RTR
O.S. .15 CV-RX Race Motor
About 3/4 of a gallon run-time
Properly and carefully broken in
Always monitored with an infra-red temp gun
Claimed 1.2hp at 31,000rpm. Easily more!
HUGE Blue Ano Super Cooling Head
Stock cooling head included as well.
Reliable O.S. Pull Start
Ask any Nitro R/C Veteran - this engine is stronger, more reliable, easier to tune, easier to start, longer lasting and will hold a tune much better than the Traxxas 2.5 engine.
CVEC Z-135 Pipe (Blue Anodized)
This is a dual chambered pipe containing a spring loaded valve that automatically keeps the engine "on the pipe" and in the top power band throughout the entire RPM range of the engine. The valve is adjustable, allowing you to "tune" the pipe for a heavier bias toward low end punch, high end punch or in between.
CVEC Rear Header
Directs exhaust out the back and under the rear bumper, helping to keep the entire chassis much cleaner. Looks killer with the custom silicone tips on the exhaust.
Pro-Line Mulcher Tires - Great tread left on the tires.
RPM Chrome Stablemaxx Monster Claws Wheels
Custom Cold Air Intake
Aluminum steering linkage upgrade (Blue Ano)
Aluminum Steering Servo Skid Plate (Blue Ano)
Team Blue Star rubber sealed bearings throughout the entire truck
Including the steering bearings.
RPM Skid/Wear Plates (Front, Center and Rear)
These are TOUGH and slick plastic "wear" plates and take a tremendous beating and shruck off all kinds of abuse.
Duratrax Aluminum Bulkheads (Blue Ano - Front and Rear)
Duratrax Aluminum Skid Plates (Blue Ano - Front and Rear)
Quick Shock Removal Update with 18/8 Stainless Hex Screws
MOST screws have been replaced with 18/8 Hex Screws
RPM Chrome Front Bumper
RPM Chrome Rear "Step" Bumper
Custom Full Roll Cage
Original T-Maxx Lexan Body
"Beater" body - has the usual bashing scrapes and scratches
Still looks great ripping up the dirt
Custom window cut-out for added engine cooling
Original Traxxas TQ-3 Radio Gear (receiver and transmitter) all in fantastic near new shape.
RPM Shock Towers (Front and Rear)
Stock Shocks with Upgrades
Blue Shock Socks All Around (8)
Progressive Springs All Around (8)
RPM Spring Cups
RPM Shock Two Stage Shock Piston Kits (x2)...NEW never installed.
Forward and reverse work smooth and strong in both low and high gears...second gear in reverse is quite a handfull!!
Misc box of spare parts, odds and ends included.
"White Wolf Creations" - Custom Painted Proline Ford Panel Truck Show Body (shown in pics) included ONLY IF ITEM FETCHES AT LEAST $350.00. Immaculate, New Condition, Fantastic Paint.
Has been run at 6,000ft of altitude and is still strong strong as an ox. If you live at a lower altitude - YOU MUST RESET THE CARB TO FACTORY DEFAULTS BEFORE RUNNING THE ENGINE, or it will be too lean and you'll burn it up in a heart beat. Engine manual included, resetting the engine is a super simple process of resetting the carb adjustment screws.
Yes it is used - but superbly maintained. There is easily $1,500 or more invested...all yours for a steal.

Just wanted to say,

Nice ass truck with sweet hop ups and a sweet engine indeed. The masses purchasing on E-bay seem to be very ignorant when it comes to engines. I'd take that motor any day over the Trx 2.5, even if it's a little less powefull. O.S. motors are da bomb IMHO.

I'd buy it if I haden't spent so damn much on RC before X-mas.

Peace

Yep...

It's a shame to see the old man go...but he's just sitting unused in the garage...

All my spare time has been consumed by my primary (and much healthier) hobby.
