Whats a decent clutch for the T-Maxx 3.3?? I want something better then the stock clutch shoes which I burn up on a regular basis.. How are aluminum clutch shoes as far as durability and performance?

aluminum clutch shoes seem to last at least double the life over stock if not more depending on how you use your rigs

Buku small block clutch with composite shoes after one gallon of hard driving and it still looks new.

Integy aluminum 3 shoe conversion kit after 2 tanks notice the groves. The heat that generated in this clutch kept breaking the clutch springs.

what other machine puts metal to metal in a clutch or brake? i have never seen any. so how will it work on a RC?

To be very honest the integy aluminum clutch worked very well with good grip but it squealed a bit when it got hot and the springs in my opinion are the week link, also the clutch bell can not be used on a composite clutch after the aluminum shoes made contact with it.
I don't know at the top of my head if any other aplication uses a metal to metal for clutches.

Hey nikko is that the buku? And if so how do u like it

Yes it's the small block buku komposite clutch. I love it it works great, I also have the big block composite with aluminum shoes on my tmaxx, its been so useful, a very good product for sure and just a bit more than the integy 3 shoe conversion clutch.

I use MIP Clutches in my MAXX & have never had a problem & MIP clutches are decent for backyard bashing & bashing @ the track.. "mostly what I do 90% of the time"

But If serious about racing though I would go with a clutch made for racing
