Well I got the legend 28-8 installed and gotta tell ya it was a good bit of work. O well part of are hobby ( a big part ) is the wrenching. So I had to file ( with hand files ) down the back of the flywheel because it was hitting where the carb goes in then the bell wouldn't move cuz it was way to tight even without shims so then I files the cluthch but down and the top of the fly wheel , I even filed the cone a bit. Then I had to shim between the engine and engine mount. Really really looks sweet though I love the way this engine looks. I'm thinking of putting the blue aluminum bumpers on just because they match the diff housings and engine head. Any way here r some pics of my ride

One of the best engine mounts are the ones that can be adjusted forward an backwards!
You need an aftermarket engine mount that does that!

AE . 28 size engine mount has it!....:D

Sweet I'm gonna look it up and have a look at it thank man. The engine is fitting in there perfect now and its good to go ( after winter ) lol

Get a new two speed shaft and shoes now. Your going to need it. Even with a LRP28 in mine, it was hard on the two speed. I had to put cardboard down where the little pucks go in the two speed shoes to make the shoes taller or the torque of the engine would just force the pucks to hop over the flat spot on the shaft. Then it would just lock up.

You can see here where mine would hop the flat spots and shine up the round part of the two speed shaft:

These are the pucks I'm talking about:

I would put about 1mm of cardboard under each one to force it to raise up a bit. I should have used a soda can or something more solid as the cardboard would smash after a short while and it would hop the hump again.

I got tired of fighting with it and got rid of it.
