Sluggish Steering

Many props to frickenjoey! After pretty in-depth suspension tuning, engine tuning, new exhaust pipe, and transmission fine tuning. My t-maxx runs like a completely different truck. I thought the truck ran good before, but after seeing the difference between running good and fine tuned the difference is like night and day. Thanks again Joey! Would have never known he lived 2 min away without RCNitroTalk!

No problem Greg, we will probably do some bashing again next weekend. I'll let you know when. Most likely my back yard again.....now that your ride can climb the hill better.....but ya still can't beat the big block power...lol

I just recently wrecked The Maxx and broke a couple a-arms...so I just finished upgrading all the a-arms to RPM but when I got everything back together the steering just doesn't seem 100%. I lift up the front end and turn back and forth and it just doesn't seem right (moves but kinda slow). I thought it was the batteries so i charged them and that helped but doesn't turn very sharp either...any suggestions?:deadhorse

I had the same problem with a Tmaxx right out of the box all I did was loosen the hubs on the front wheels and my steering is awesome! give that a shot before you start spending money on a bunch of servos. I figured it out by accident after buying an $80 high torque servo that didn't help the problem put my stock back in and loosened the hubs it worked great.

If you can I would highly recommend changing your steering to the proline system the proline system gets rid of the servo saver on the servo and is built into the steering system and has a much better response.
