Sick of my mt2(now with pics LOL)

Recently I've got my mt2 w/ the 2.5 savage motor out of storage cleaned her up and started playing broke my rear dog bone replaced it had to put a pull start on it rotostart failed. and now the engine wont turn this is about 3 years old. I'm at a desicion start over with a new savage should i get new or used? I'm trying to keep pricing 300-400 and what should i look for in a used unit any obvious signs of damage? misuse? my mt2 has given me a constant headache for the past 4 weeks now already spent 100+ into it to get it back to running and its still not. what would you guys do in my situation fix the mt2 or buy new?

I'm going to be selling a Savage X SS in a week or two. I just built it in Feb or March, and it's only had about 15 or 20 mins runtime since break in. I have 10 RC's and don't have the time for it. It would perfect for what you're looking for, and you wouldn't have to worry about how beat up it might be. It will be within your budget, and come with everything needed except fuel, if I could ship it I would.

A new Savage X 4.6 SS is $360 on Towerhobbies.com. Well within your budget and the most durable truck out there. You'll need a radio for it though. (your MT radio will work)

got any pics of it what price would you be looking for? aim me aaaub3rnuts so we dont clog the thread up

yeah I'm looking for something tough so I'm not ALWAYS replacing stuff after every run witch is how my mt has become how hard are the kits to assemble?

If you've never assembled an RC kit before you could probably get it done in about 12 to 15 hours. Do you like mechanics stuff, and enjoy working on cars, stuff like that? If you do, the kit is the way to go.

Yeah i do now ID prefer a RTR but if pricing is higher for that fact i enjoy working on cars have done some stuff to my car id just prefer pull out of box and go even if used broken in right so i can start slammin the throttle =D

The RTR is priced cheaper because when you buy the kit, you still have to have a radio system, electronics, 2 servos, the receiver pack, etc...

Gotcha makes sense also id like something not pullstart in the past 2 days my hands have become consumed with blood blisters lol

Another good reason to buy my Savage X SS when I sell it, I've already added the Roto-Start :)

All seriousness aside, I'm not trying to pressure you into buying my truck. I've already got a waiting list because people know how I take care of my stuff. But I do think that if you're looking for something in that budget and you want a good basher, Savage is the way to go. If you can spend a lil more than the price range you listed above, then get a baja 5b

Honostly id like a savage I've heard alot of good things about them for a basher and id like something rtr and if used BROKEN IN RIGHT and id rather trust someone with a reputation then some 10 year old kid on fleebay that abused the crap out of it and didnt break it in right but let me know add me to the waiting list lol
